Executive Profiles
Alan Newcomb, CEO
alan.newcomb@retrotax.com
Alan Newcomb is a life-long entrepreneur and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He founded Associated Consultants, RetroTax's parent company, upon completion of a sales management assignment with a competitor when he saw the unfilled need in the market for a defensible geographic program administrator. Alan is responsible for all financial, strategic, and marketing directions of the corporation.
Stan Friedman, President & Chief Operating Officer
stan.friedman@retrotax.com
A nineteen year veteran of franchising, Stan Friedman is an “outside the box” thinker. In 1998, while directing global development for Blimpie International, he created an Urban Expansion initiative that was heralded by the media, as well as leaders of both the public and private sectors. This culminated in an invitation to the White House, where he participated in the President’s “Conference for Community Empowerment.” Stan’s Urban Expansion Initiative was later honored as Blimpie’s Innovation of the Year.
From 2003-2006, Stan served as Executive Vice President and Partner at the Wing Zone Franchise Corp., where he led their development charge, growing the Atlanta-based chain to nearly 100 units. In 2007 Stan became partner and President of the newly formed ACI Franchising, LLC.
Stan is Chairman of the Board of the Atlanta Franchise Alliance, and a charter Board member of the IFA’s Diversity Institute, serving as its First Vice-Chair and Chairman of the IFA’s Minorities in Franchising Committee. Stan is a frequent speaker at business development conferences nationwide and is a regular contributor to the IFA’s Franchising World Magazine.

Bob Ritter, Vice President of Franchising and National Accounts
bob.ritter@retrotax.com
Bob Ritter brings 18 years of franchise leadership skills and experience to RetroTax. While spending the majority of his franchising and professional career at Ritter's Frozen Custard, a regional "icon" of frozen deserts in the midwest, Bob honed his talents on both operational and development fronts, working his way from front line sales to CEO. Bob was President and Chief Executive Officer of RFC Franchising when he successfully shephered the company through its merger into a larger, multi-branded food service franchising company.
Bob is relationship driven, a solid and proactive communicator and is a firm practitioner of "win/win or no transaction." Bob heads up our National Accounts program, brings strength to our franchisee support team and assists with leadership development for our team of professionals at the home office.
